A new inflatable park is set to open in the heart of Grimsby town centre – with the team thrilled to be part of the area’s regeneration.

Innoflate are set to open on the Riverhead in the units formerly occupied by a gym and children’s play area. Now, they’re set for a new lease of life.

Surrounded by the Freshney Place leisure scheme, the new Riverhead and numerous other additions to the town centre, the area has been reinvented into somewhere welcoming and enjoyable.

For Manager Ben Leeming, it’s a dream to be able to offer something that the whole family can enjoy.

“I’m a local boy myself so to be able to open something like this in my home town is just brilliant.

“The whole project is huge and it ties into the rest of the regeneration going on around the town. Everything is going up and we want to make sure no part is left out or forgotten.

“The owners, the team and I are so excited to get people through the door and it’s certainly going to be a positive addition to Grimsby town centre.”

However, it isn’t just about the here and now, Ben believes this is just the start of something brilliant. “People need to see the bigger picture. There is so much opportunity here – great things are coming.

“Whether that’s us, the cinema or something completely different, businesses are doing great around here and it’s quickly turning into the place to be. We know that our business will be a benefit for the town and the residents of North East Lincolnshire.”

He added: “Times are changing and town centres are no longer what they used to be – they’re becoming places where you can do all sorts, not just shopping.”

The Freshney Place Leisure Scheme is a major scale project that is helping to reimagine Grimsby town centre. With a new five screen cinema, operated by local business Parkway, a new market and a range of leisure facilities, this project is breathing new life into the heart of North East Lincolnshire.
