Construction work on the eastern access, including the vehicular bridge, to the Charterholme development site is progressing well and remains on schedule for completion in November 2025, as major infrastructure enhancements continue to take shape.

As part of the next phase, contractors GRAHAM will continue with works along Tritton Road and the new traffic signals at the Dixon Street/Tritton Road junction.

A full overnight road closure is scheduled each night from 4 to 15 August 2025 from 8pm to 6am at the Dixon Street junction.

This will involve full traffic and pedestrian management on site to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently. Temporary traffic will be in place as required.

During this period, a diversion route will be in place. Advance warning notices to road users will be displayed on the road network from 21 July.

The works, being carried out by GRAHAM, include the successful installation of a new vehicular bridge over the railway and significant road improvements along Tritton Road, including new footpaths and upgraded traffic signal infrastructure at the Dixon Street junction.

To ensure minimal disruption and maintain clear communication, GRAHAM will visit local businesses to give updates and contact details for their Site Manager.

GRAHAM has worked closely with Lincolnshire County Council, National Highways, and other key stakeholders, including Stagecoach, Lincolnshire Police, Emergency Services, and refuse collection teams, to coordinate works and minimise impact.
