The recent works carried out by Anglian Water on Bluestone Lane in Immingham, are continuing after the discovery of preexisting issues with the condition of underground equipment.

Additional equipment now needs to be installed to ensure that the residents of Immingham have a continuous supply of water should any future repairs in the area be required.

The new requirement for the works includes a deep excavation before the new equipment can be installed.

Once installed, an additional burst water main will need to be repaired located near the junction of Bluestone Lane and Pelham Road.

New equipment has been ordered and safety checks to the design will mean that there will be little site presence in the first instance which may make it seem as though no progress is being made.

Anglian Water appreciate the patience of residents during this process. The completion date for the works is estimated for Friday 14 February 2025.
